Mite cars are the smaller gas powered miniature race cars.  Most mite cars are powered by 0.09-, 0.19- or 0.29-cubic inch model airplane engines.  Racing mites are mite cars which were purpose-built for racing and include those cars which were either designed specifically for competition or were versions of the more popular toy race cars which were modified to make them more competitive on the track.  This information is provided by MITE CAR EXPERT John Lorenz.
